2024 Reopener: Compensation MOU Tentative Agreement
After 10 months of interest-based bargaining, the Federation and the District could not reach agreement on the terms of compensation for fiscal year 2024-2025. The District’s final offer at the end of bargaining was a salary increase of 0%. Subsequently, the Federation and the District entered into mediation with a state mediator. We met on May 5, 2025, and reached a settlement for compensation. Mediation resulted in a tentative agreement that increases all salary schedules (Appendices C1-C3, D1-D5) by 2.0%, retroactive to January 1, 2025.
The Federation is holding a ratification vote during the period of Friday, May 9 – Thursday, May 15, 2025.
