Student debt is in the news again. Below are some helpful resources as you work to get debt free from your education and training.

Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program

The definition of full-time on the PSLF Employment Certification Form states: Adjunct faculty who work at least 30 hours per week, using the multiplier in AB 463 (Cervantes, 2019), should be marked as a full-time employee (solely for the purposes of [Public Service Loan Forgiveness] PSLF) on the Employment Certification Form – which was the intent of the bill.

‘Full-time means working for one or more qualifying employers for the greater of: (1) an annual average of at least 30 hours per week or, for a contractual or employment period of at least 8 months, an average of 30 hours per week; or (2) unless the qualifying employment is with two or more employers, the number of hours the employer considers full time.'”

This is the form public services employees can use to apply for PSLF.
